For the days when you just want a filling midday snack, without the guilt- this is the smoothie for you. We put together this recipe to satisfy both your sweet tooth and your needed nutrients to get you through the day.

We have strawberries and bananas to give a sweet and heavy flavor, while the sunflower sprouts carry the weight of the team. The sunflower sprouts give the fiber and vitamins you need daily, and help strengthen your hair, skin, and nails. Optionally, you can add in flax or sunflower seeds to give you an extra boost in your health with see cycling!

For those craving something sweet, try this smoothie to satisfy your cravings and get you powered up for your day.

Sunflower Microgreens: These little guys have a mild nutty flavor that ties well with the optional flax and sunflower seeds. But, they also are pack with nutrients including healthy fats, protein, chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals. They’re great for your hair, skin, nails, energy, digestion, and boosting your immune system.

Banana: Bananas are a great source of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, potassium, dietary fibre, and manganese. These things help aid digestion, your skin, and clear out your kidneys.

Flax or Sunflower Seeds: flax seeds are a great vegan source of omega-3 fatty acids, lignans, fiber, and protein. Sunflower seeds are rich in B-complex vitamins, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, protein and vitamin E.

  • 3-4 Organic Strawberries
  • 1 large handful Organic Sunflower Sprouts
  • ½ Banana
  • 4-6 oz Water or Milk Substitute
  • 1 tbsp Flax or Sunflower Seeds (*Optional)
  1. Throw everything into a blender and enjoy immediately!
